SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Elite World has been a voluntary contributor to the blood donation campaign since 2014 to draw our employees’ attention to the importance of blood donation and contribute to national requirements for blood. Our objective within this context is to join this project every year, increase the blood donation awareness of our staff working at our hotels and meet the blood requirements of the Red Crescent so that the hospitals can be amply supplied.

By joining the campaign initiated for the benefit of people with paraplegia, Elite World contributes to efforts towards raising awareness about the disease and producing wheelchairs for patients by collecting unused plastic lids on the hotel premises. The hotel chain has been a regular contributor the campaign since 2015.

Elite World reinforces its corporate social responsibility awareness, which is a part of our corporate culture, through joint projects with the Community Volunteers Foundation, one of the leading NGOs in Turkey. We attended the meetings and seminars organized by the Community Volunteers Foundation as the venue and accommodation sponsor. All hotels under the brand name of Elite World are part of the project.

Elite World has joined forces with the Turkish Foundation For Children in Need, one of the leading NGOs in Turkey, to reinforce its corporate social responsibility awareness, support children in need of aid and promote its brand image. We purchased the bookmarkers released by the Turkish Foundation For Children in Need as part of its social campaign, donated the money to the foundation and gifted the same bookmarkers to our guests.

Prior to the opening of the Elite World Van Hotel, Elite World Hotel picked 40 bright students studying at the Tourism Faculty of the Van Yüzüncü Yıl University to support them with their education as part of its drive to take part in social responsibility projects that will contribute to tourism and education, raise awareness about the Elite World brand in and around the city of Van and train qualified staff for the tourism industry. The selected students started a new career at the Elite World Van Hotel. The hotel still employs staff recruited as part of its employment drive for young graduates.

As part of its social responsibility policy, Elite World chooses to send saplings instead of flowers to persons remembered on special occasions to contribute to efforts towards promoting the planting of more saplings.
